Why has no one moved out of Midsomer? In Midsomer Murders?

It's an interesting question that we all want to know the answer to but thing is, if we had an answer to this, there'd be no point in watching the damn series would there? It'd be boring. It's only a Murder mystery series, it's not really even that realistic but it's a good watch and keeps you in suspense. The actor who played Tom Barnaby before he left admitted himself that Inspector Barnaby is the worst policeman ever because always works with his instincts which isn't always the best trait to have. If everybody considered moving there would be no point at all in the series.
