Keyhole surgery on ankle?

iv been told i may need this and im worried in might mean i need to change the family holiday, the physio says my range is good but there is something not right (they seemed to concentrate on the front) im in the army and she says 3 mounth before im good as new but i fogot to ask hol long till im walking does any one have any idea, i know its dificult online but if any one has had it and how long it took them
