We met 9 months ago...what u think of this?

I met him 9 months ago on holiday and we had a thing. We live 4 hours apart.he’s 23 and i’m 20. He took my nmber when on holiday but on the last day i was abit down about something so we didnt talk. Anyway 2 months later i found him and hs friends on fb and he’s been talking to me on chat ever since. Although in those 2 months where it seemed we’d never see each other again he started seeing a girl who was the friend of the reps sister on holiday but it seems they stopped talking around about the time i got in contact again. Anyway i had to go near where he lives for a placement interview and he met up wth me, went out withhis friends, stayed the night with me and the wentt his to chill and baught me lunch next day. Anyway i’m going there again for the placement next week he said we’d have to meet up so we’re going to. I know u cant really tel what someones doing all the time buteve his friends say he’s not a slag. Do u think he likes me? It’s just i was thinking why would a guy that i met on hol, lives 4 hours away from me still talk to me 9 months on let alone see me again!
