Holiday suggestions - cheap and cheerful couples hol?

i would like to take my boyfriend away for for 3 or 4 nights around the 13th June. Somewhere sunny, preferably with things to do so (not just lying on sun loungers). Looking for somehwere cheap and cheerful flying from Newcastle/Teesside. Any suggestions? Thanks
