Serious Question about on and off boyfriend?

Omg is that my ex-boyfriend? They sound SO similar, the way they talk and behave. My advice is DONT go back to him (you probably cant anyway because he is in jail) but its his fault he is in there. For Gods sake girl, he tried to KILL someone!!!! Are you out of your mind??? But I know that feeling, you feel he loves you. But he has been abusive to you too, dont forget that! I'm not only talking theories, I had a similar experience and I had to cut all ties with him and it was difficult, but I did it for my safety, and mainly for my emotional health.
