How do I make my North Face fleece soft again?

I just bought it, and since my dad is allergic to dogs, I have to change when I get home, and wash my clothes immediately. I wash my fleece at least 3-4 times a week. I honestly have to wash it this much - my dad's allergies are extremely sensitive. He's also got asthma - so you can see my conundrum.
