Studying literature in graduate school?

So here is my conundrum: I'm a junior linguistics/english double major who (due to a family issue) is moving to ecuador to finish my last year. I aspire to be a literature professor for a college...should i continue my study of literature in an ecuadorian graduate school or return to the united states and get my master's here? Any ideas?
