Can some one help explain to me the profound logic of this philosophical conundrum?

" in a lonely forest, a tree falls down but no animal is near to hear it, does it make a sound?" ok I am going to argue a very intuitive argument: suppose that I attach a recording device nearby a tree that is sure to fall down soon then come few days later finding the tree on the ground, pick up the recorder and play it and lo I can surely hear the sound of the tree falling! I was not there, we cannot attribute hearing to the recorder, the tree made a sound although no one was there!
