What are your thoughts on the Casey Anthony trial?

I think its rediculous that a single case has gotten so much attention. This isn't anyone famous, it isn't a celebrity or a politician or anything like that. This is just a regular person. And there are plenty of these cases that happen all the time. Why did this one become so popular? It's a sad commentary on our society. The already blurred line between celebrity, tv 'reality' and real life reality has almost been completely erased.
